Kicking things off is Klynch in the 19:45. Ruth Carr's gelding has been in fantastic form in recent weeks, winning over six furlongs at York last month prior to slamming his rivals at Hamilton eight days ago, travelling powerfully before quickening clear to score by four and a half lengths. Clearly underestimated by the handicapper that day, he appeals as still having a bit in hand in this event shouldering just a 6 lb penalty for victory, and with the step up to seven furlongs unlikely to be an issue he looks to have decent claims of completing the hat-trick. In the next race on the card, John Gosden's Infinitum is strongly fancied to strike in the 20:20. Slowly into stride when second on her debut at Salisbury in May, the daughter of Dalakhani flew home inside the final...

Betterbetterbetter stepped up on debut when winning 11f maiden at Dundalk in March with plenty in hand. Further progress when just touched off in Cheshire Oaks last time, but this demands plenty more. Colima made impressive debut at Nottingham (1m) in November and improved for step up in trip when chasing home Vow at Lingfield (1½m, AW) on return. Will do well to reverse that form, though. Coquet quickly progressed to a useful level last term, taking 1m listed race at Newmarket on final run. Defied penalty at Goodwood (1¼m) on recent return and likely to stay 1½m. Not discounted. Devotion went right way with each run at 2 yrs and showed benefit of reappearance run to record career best when second in Leopardstown Group 3 (1m) last time. Bred for this...

Richard Hannon's Producer (14:10, Epsom) shaped well on his racecourse debut in what has subsequently proved a hot maiden at Newbury. Three next time out winners have since emerged from that race, Producer included, with our selection winning over today's course and distance. Epsom can prove a tricky course to handle, especially for juveniles, but he stuck to the task well and asserted inside the closing stages to win by an impressive four lengths. Producer makes his nursery debut this afternoon and looks on a very fair mark, particularly as he is open to further improvement. Miracle Play is a handicapper to be on the right side of for now and can get back to winning ways in a modest contest at Epsom this afternoon (16:55). This lightly-raced, David Evans trained three-year-old...

Mungo Park is a member of this year's Timeform Horses to Follow, and there were definite concerns that he would be one of those in the minority that sink without trace after not being seen out until last week. In the event, those fears were allayed with a promising third in a 10-furlong maiden at Warwick and Mungo Park looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to open his account at Hamilton (15:05). Mungo Park is a big, unfurnished colt who was always likely to make up into a middle-distance three-year-old, so it's encouraging that he shaped with such definite promise in two maidens in 2010. His reappearance effort at Warwick represented a big step forward on that form and there's good reason to think he'll prove capable of further progress, considerably more so than today's...

Beatrice Aurore is progressing well and took the step up to listed company in her stride at Goodwood last month. She needs to improve again to figure here and while her pedigree suggests she should stay this far, her free-going nature adds a degree of doubt. Blaise Chorus is still a maiden but improved to split Wonder of Wonders and Fork Handles in the Cheshire Oaks last time. That form still leaves her well short of the standard required to win this. Blue Bunting is a stoutly-bred filly who improved markedly on her juvenile efforts when landing the 1000 Guineas on her reappearance. She will be at least as a effective at this sort of strip and sets a solid standard with the promise of more to come. Dancing Rain improved on her sole juvenile outing when...

Tartan Gigha was game when winning twice at around 9f last year. He returned to his best when finding only Lowther too good on the AW last month and his excellent course record makes it easy to forgive a modest effort last month. Sirvino was one of the most progressive handicappers of 2009 and gowas back in top form at the end of last season when just as good at 1½ m as 1¼m. He is versatile as regards ground and has won first time out before too. Beachfire has won four of his five starts, picking up well to prevail in 1¼m handicaps at Sandown and Goodwood for his last two wins. He still has potential but his quirks were increasingly in evidence last year and he's now in first-time blinkers. Spanish Duke has won four his last nine starts, improving...
