Ravens Secret completed just once in maiden Irish points earlier this year but has filled the frame first 3 starts over hurdles. Step up in trip will suit now handicapping, but opening mark looks stiff.

Gulf Punch wasted no time getting back on the up for this yard, winning twice in recent months at up to 3m. Showed a good attitude for latter win at Musselburgh, but 9 lb rise clearly demands even more.

Overyou has showed improved form since returning form a break in August, winning handicaps at Cartmel and Hexham at up to 3m. Found out off revised mark in better race at Ascot last time, though.

Jewelled Dagger did well for new yard on Flat during the summer, winning 3 times. Not far off best on return to hurdles last month, but shaped like a suspect stayer in steadily-run 3m event since.

Tippering suffered a couple of hiccups in the spring, but continues tp shape like a horse with potential off this mark. Again held back by jumping at Wetherby last month, and needs to cut out the errors.

Easement has looked ungenuine, but ended last season on the up with a brace of handicap wins for Charlie Morlock in the spring. A player if ready to go on return.

Ballymacduff made a promising start when placed 2 of first 3 starts over fences earlier in the year, but let down by jumping afterwards and this on the limit of his stamina back over hurdles.

Political Paddy is a three-time hurdles winner/error prone maiden chaser. Mixed record since returned to timber, but at least usual cheekpieces now back on after well beaten fifth last time, that after a 6-month break.

Ceasar's Return made a successful bumper debut in March 2009, but disappointing on the whole over hurdles last season, his attitude a major cause for concern. Also offered nothing on last month's return.

Everaard got off the mark in 3m handicap at Musselburgh in Janaury. Initially hit hard for that win and struggled since (including over fences), but back on the up over same C&D last week.

Jumby Bay shaped with promise in a bumper before making successful start over hurdles in 2009 for George Charlton. Set plenty to do on belated return for new yard, and of interest now up markedly in trip.

Browneyes Blue won 3 times over hurdles in early-2007/8. Very lightly raced, and though he showed he was no lost cause when runner-up over fences in July 2010, this veteran has again been absent since.

Easby Park was progressive over hurdles in 2008/9, but no impact over fences following season. Soundly beaten all 3 starts back from a long absence in recent months and has it all to prove for now.

Conflictofinterest was once useful for Paul Nicholls, but regressed badly, achieving little in 7 runs for current yard (all bar one over fences).

Right Enough was a point winner who didn't show much in 3 quick novice hurdles, but left those efforts well behind collared close home on handicap bow upped to 27f. Races off same mark, and obvious claims.

I Got Music showed more spark in blinkers when making frame for third time over hurdles at Doncaster (2m) in March, but never a factor both starts last month. Dropped in weights, but stamina to prove.

Carmela Maria has been placed several times, but yet to win over hurdles and percentage call got to be to oppose for win purposes for all she didn't shape too badly at Huntingdon last month.

Timeform View: An open-looking handicap, but it may still pay to side with the unexposed pair Right Enough and Jumby Bay. Both have potential from their current marks, with the former preferred with stamina assured. Everaard is one of many potential dangers.
