Secret Witness is a tough sort who bounced right back to his best when touched off by Docofthebay in C&D listed event recently. Not as consistent as he was, so no banker to do as well again, and up again in the weights.

Five Star Junior is a hold-up sprinter who goes well on polytrack. Good effort at Dundalk last month, and though behind a few of these over C&D subsequently, is better off back in handicap now.

Arganil is a lazy sort who has been expensive to follow since Southwell success back in January. Has won here 3 times before but simply can't be trusted even for yard in good form.

Norville is a tough and genuine sort who goes well here. Has been campaigned fairly highly recently and may have needed first run back from a break last time. Interesting back in handicap.

Elna Bright landed fourth success on polytrack when posting career best at Wolverhampton, well suited by strong pace. Up 5 lb, but not been with new yard long so could yet do better.

Cochabamba was Group placed at 2 yrs after winning C&D maiden on debut and returned to polytrack with good effort behind Secret Witness here a fortnight ago. Back in handicap now and could be involved.

Piscean is better on polytrack, his last 3 wins in 2010 coming on this surface. Not got going this year but not badly treated back on AW and a return to form wouldn't surprise.

Capone didn't waste time making mark for current yard, winning 6f Kempton handicap easily in the summer. Good effort in minor event there last time and fairly treated back in handicap. Considered.

Thunderball was in good heart when landing back-to-back wins at up to 7f in the summer. Struggled off higher marks after, though, and won't get easy lead back in handicap here.

Dozy Joe won 6f maiden and AW nursery at 2 yrs. Limited to just 3 runs in 2011, putting up blinding effort on return in May but not so good in competitive 3-y-o handicaps after. Headgear now on.

Dickie's Lad is not the finished article after just 5 starts, and would have strong claims if finding form of his run behind stablemate York Glory at the Ebor meeting on this AW bow.

What About You made all in 6f Wolverhampton maiden this time last year. Mostly respectable efforts in handicaps this term, unable to dominate last time, and facing competition for lead here as well.

Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Dickie's Lad
2. Cochabamba
3. Five Star Junior

Timeform View: A cracking sprint handicap that can go to the unexposed Dickie's Lad, though he will need to shake off the attentions of Norville, Thunderball and What About You up front. Closers Cochabamba, Five Star Junior and Capone could also figure.
