Camden George hs registered just a single win in 29 starts over jumps, and that came back in February 2009. Ran respectably when third in a veteran's chase at Aintree on return last month, but this looks too competitive.

Fortysecond Street has been largely below form since landing novice chase at Doncaster (19f) in March 2010, but back to best to win 25f handicap at Hexham on final run for Howard Johnson. More needed on debut for new yard now.

Sarando landed a 2½m novice chase at Plumpton in January, and much improved in defeat when chasing home Quito de La Roque in 25f Grade 2 novice at Aintree in April. Big chance if repeating that effort.

Aikman is a point winner who progressed well over hurdles last season, and showed himself as good as ever when scoring on return. Jumped well over inadequate 2m on chase bow here, and will do much better.

Cross Kennon has been progressive over hurdles in last 2 seasons, and ended last term with excellent fourth in World Hurdle. Also successful between the flags in his youth, so ought to make transition to fences.

Honest John is a Grade 2 bumper winner, and best effort over hurdles came when a wide-margin winner at Southwell in February 2010. Below form at Aintree on final start, but not ruled out if ready to go after an absence.

Timeform View: Cross Kennon is a fascinating recruit to fences after finishing fourth in the World Hurdle, but preference is for those with proven form in this sphere, and Sarando gets the nod after his Aintree second was franked at the weekend. Aikman is next best, and not underestimated.
