Mon Brav is a hold-up sprinter who won his first 2 starts for his current yard in April/May. Not been in top form of late however, even discounting latest effort when isolated. Others make more appeal.

Klynch is a tactically versatile handicapper who has won 4 times this year. Well below form last 2 starts, though, and likely to find a few too strong once more.

Ballista has been winless since his debut but undoubtedly well treated and caught the eye at Haydock last month. Ran poorly next time though and longer trip a concern here.

Celtic Sultan is a front runner who ended losing run at Kempton last month. 3 lb rise still leaves him on a fair mark but not ideally drawn to try and dictate in this field.

Illustrious Prince won twice in 2010 up to 7f on AW for Jeremy Noseda and really refound his best form of late, bolting up over 7.6f at Chester last month. Poor effort at Ayr 5 days later.

Dorback has not been easiest to train, though shaped well when sixth to Novellen Lad on return at Newbury. Struggled afterwards, including on first run for this yard, and easy to swerve upped to 7f.

Regeneration won 2 handicaps over 7f in 2010 and signed off with fair effort on AW at Lingfield in November. Should be sharper for recent reappearance and respected, even allowing for stable's poor form.

No Poppy is a tough sort and largely creditable efforts since landing 7f Leicester claimer in May, including when fourth at Musselburgh last month. Not at best in claimer last time but on a fair mark.

Madam Macie is a front-runner who is not without hope on pick of 2010 form, but struggling badly this year. Attracted support last time but didn't fare any better. Risky at present.

Beckermet dropped a long way in the weights last year, and finally taken advantage, winning 3 times this season, including over C&D 10 days ago. Tricky draw but hard to rule out.

Another Citizen looked a different horse upon first being fitted with cheekpieces, scoring impressively at Ayr in August. Hasn't been at anything like his best in 2 subsequent runs, though, and headgear off now.

Mujaadel landed a C&D handicap in May but been a mixed bag ever since. Couldn't rule out if breaking on terms but not the most reliable.

Lucky Dan turned in a career-best effort when regaining winning thread over 6f at Wolverhampton in January. Not yet recovered form after a 6-month break and plenty to prove for now.

Clumber Place thrived in autumn 2010, reeling off a 4-timer over this trip. Back below last winning mark, and did just hint that she might be on the way back over C&D last time. Risky, nonetheless.

Sam Nombulist has shown just as much temperament as ability in maidens/handicaps so far. Visor helped last time but wouldn't be sure to reproduce that and has to race from out of the handicap.

Timeform View: Regeneration should be fitter with his recent return to action behind him and he could be the one to get his stable off the cold list in a run-of-the-mill handicap. Celtic Sultan and Beckermet both come here on the back of a win and should go well once more.
