Traveller's Tales showed significant improvement when second behind stable-companion Oprettist in a Salisbury maiden last time and, if continuing on an upward curve as expected, can be relied upon to give a good account in the nursery at Yarmouth (14:00). Traveller's Tales has so far shaped as if seven furlongs or even a mile is likely to be her favoured trip and her draw in stall 3 suggests she should be able to gain a favourable position, so, with Ryan Moore booked for the ride, she has an excellent chance of continuing trainer Richard Hannon's recent good run of form.

Grandioso showed some impressive bumper form in just two outings last season and, if able to translate the same of ability level to timber, should go very close on his first start for Betfair Ambassador Paul Nicholls in division two of the novice hurdle at Chepstow (14:40). Grandioso did well on debut, overcoming greenness to land an eight-runner event up at Musselburgh back in February, before running creditably in the Grade 2 Champion Bumper at the Aintree Festival in April. Grandioso shaped better than the bare result on that occasion, making up ground with minimum fuss to put himself into contention, only to fade from over two out on what was just his second career start. There is a chance he may not be fully tuned up for his reappearance, as is the case with many at this time of year, but he won on debut last term and hopefully he can do himself justice this time around.

Taste The Wine was no match for the strong-travelling One For Joules at Ffos Las last time, but he ran encouragingly enough, staying on late to finish second behind the impressive winner. His one and only hurdles victory came over today's course and distance and, having shown he is in fine form in recent weeks, should be able to go well once again at Chepstow (16:40) this afternoon, off what remains a fairly workable mark. Taste The wine will have race fitness over the majority of his rivals and will be the one to beat if reproducing something like his best.
