Timeform give their view on the runners in the Juddmonte International Stakes, the day one highlight of the Ebor Festival at York...

Await The Dawn has been successful on 5 of his 6 starts and took the step-up to Group 2 company in his stride when beating Harris Tweed in Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot on latest. Not yet exposed, and makes plenty of appeal.

Twice Over was better than ever in 2010, won Eclipse at Sandown and Champion Stakes (for second time) at Newmarket. Put a couple of poor runs behind him when winning C&D Group 2 last time, but needs bit more now.

Windsor Palace is without a win since landing maiden at 2 yrs and this quirky sort has been relegated to pacemaking duties this season.

Zafisio enjoyed productive campaign in 2009, rounding off the year with wins in Group 3s in France and Germany on soft/heavy ground. Well held sole start last year, and plenty to prove on this belated return.

Midday won 3 Group 1s in 2010, and as good as ever when landing C&D Group 2 on return. Took third consecutive Nassau Stakes at Goodwood last time, and looks best of Henry Cecil's pair on balance of form.

Roderic O'Connor bounced back to 2-y-o form when making all to beat Dubawi Gold in Irish 2000 Guineas under an astute ride. Stamina stretched in French Derby and Irish Derby since, and similar concerns now.

Timeform 1-2-3:

1. Await The Dawn
2. Midday
3. Twice Over

Timeform View: Henry Cecil launches 2 of his finest in an attempt to win this race for the third time, and while Midday can win the battle with Twice Over, it may be that both end up chasing the tail of the progressive Await The Dawn.
