A few more selections met my criteria and the odds were slightly better and ... the uplift was substantial. Well worth the wait I think. The key is arriving at a period where the markets offer these opportunities on a more regular basis - ideally 3 or 4 times a week. My judgement (for what it is worth) is that I am still a few weeks off such a desirous period. We shall, as always, have to wait and see.

Comment:

Another quiet day - but profitable (just). My short-term goal is to reach the £45K mark and then onwards towards the £50K mark.

Just as a point of interest, if I did no better than I have done so far this year I would end up with a profit of £58,000 (Tax Free!) for 365 days work. However, I know that the 'compound' effect will eventually kick in and therefore I expect to see a profit for the year of in excess of £100,000. Is this wishful thinking? I think not. We shall see in due course.
