Once again I spoke too soon! Poor R.O.I., the result of poor odds today  - but Hey Ho! that's life. Graph to follow in due course (pending approval!).

I have now created the 'Accumulative Daily Profit and Loss' graphs and am awaiting approval from the powers that be. I suspect that by the end of February an additional graph will appear as part of my attempt to create a meaningful 'Dashboard of performance'.

I suppose I should write a review of last month's trading. I will try and get one up soon. I am also beginning to start the data collection for a Machine Learning / A.I. project I am working on. Much to learn in that area - but it could be very profitable!

Well the abandoned meetings didn't help but we still have a profit (however small!) Happy days. Graph to follow in due course (pending approval!)

Month End Report

This first month has been an 'interesting' one. It was impacted by an exceptionally profitable start with, in my opinion, returns that are normally the stuff of dreams. Then reality kicked in and 'normal service was resumed'. After that came my wife's hospitalisation which impacted the returns in the opposite direction towards the end of the month. So maybe they balanced each other out - we will never know. My long term model suggests a daily R.O.I. of around the 5% mark would not be unreasonable. We shall see how it pans out in the second month.

Whilst 'hanging around in hospital I came across two items of interest: Firstly an overview of the Microsoft Azure Machine Learning cloud software: Secondly a paper by W. Benter (a bettor who purportedly became a Billionaire - look him up on Google). I am now beginning to research the possibilities and get my head around the Azure ML product. Whilst I shall keep you posted on developments I can tell you that during February I will be building up a core Data set (the first requirement!). Wish me luck. Alternatively, if you know anything about Azure Machine Learning I would love to hear from you.
