Comment:

Head down, discipline, perseverance and patience - the only game in town. For the record, the profit in the last 7 days was £1,881.89. So, although a bad start to the month progress is being made.

My long-term aim is to achieve a 5% return per day. I am currently, this month, bubbling along around the 1.5% mark. However, slowly but surely this percentage will rise. Whether I can attain 5% is open to question but that's my aim. Just thought I would share that little gem.

Comment:

In 2 days I have recovered the losses of the last 6 days. More importantly, to my mind, is the hint that something has changed in the last couple of days. Well, two things to be precise. Firstly, there have been more bets. My selection criteria hasn't changed - but the mix seems to have changed. Secondly, there has been a very slight change in the odds (in my favour). Those two factors combined have resulted in my making £661 of profit in two days. Let's hope we have a few more days like this.

It may be worth repeating at this point that my approach is a long-term one. This is certainly not a "get-rich-quick" scheme. Far from it. It requires discipline and patience more than nearly anything else. And when I have 'bad' days, I just work through them - not changing anything at all. Just thought I would make that clear.

Well, I wasn't expecting that! 11 bets, the most I've done in a day for about a month. Sadly the odds were poor - but I'm not complaining. Hopefully I will be back in the black tomorrow (or is just saying that the kiss of death??).

For reasons that are beyond me at the moment the second graph has not updated. It is showing a slightly lower point than it should be (£260.53 lower to be exact). I'll try and work out why and correct it tomorrow.
