A rather good start to the month (certainly compared with last month!). The question is can I maintain it?
Even though I am making some slight adjustments to try and increase the Daily R.O.I., the last two days results are due to the markets being surprisingly favourable to my approach and NOT due to any skill on my part (yet!). I can't take credit for factors totally outside my control. That said, I'll always take the profits - if offered.

Well, not the month end I was hoping for!

This month has been poor to put it mildly. I have had 6 days where I either made a loss or had no bets. That's the same as losing well over a week's worth of profit (over £1,000). That little fact put paid to any hope of beating the previous month.

I will analyse my performances this month and try to see if it was due to 'operator error' (me making mistakes) or just the laws of probability fighting back. In all honesty I was hoping to hit at least £6,000 if not £6,500 this month. However I cannot really complain at a net profit of £5K for the month can I?

Next month I hope to slowly increase my Daily R.O.I. which seems to have got stuck at just under 2%. If I can do this then the results should be impressive.

Finally, my forecast models indicate that I am on target to reach £100,000 sometime in October .... we shall see.

A good result and it has dragged me over the £20K mark! However, there are still two days to go and I am only too aware that I could drop below again.... Discipline is the answer. Slow, sure, steady application of discipline.

My main aim now is to bring the daily R.O.I. up bit by bit. That would make a massive difference to the profits. My goal is 5% a day (yes I know I am a long way from that at the moment) but... if one approaches this in an incremental fashion it is amazing what can be achieved over time - this is not a "get-rich-quick" scheme. This is (hopefully) a "get-massively-rich-slowly" scheme!
