Oops!
Sadly just one of those things. I expect to lose from time to time, but it is not pleasant to have it happen twice in one day. My expectation is that it will take me about 3 or four days to claw this back (he says hopefully). 5 days at most.

As I say to my good lady wife "If we didn't have the odd day like today, we would already be multi-millionaires!."

Once again let us remember my approach is a get (extremely) rich SLOWLY one NOT a get-rich-quick scheme.

I am NOT a superstitious man, but I pause for thought, bearing in mind my comments yesterday, about my having no control over the number of bets that meet my selection criteria and their respective odds. A reasonable start to the month. I am still working on increasing the Daily R.O.I. but haven't managed to balance the 'Risk/Reward' equation yet .... but I will succeed in due course.

My 'self-inflicted' target for this month is £10,000 profit. In theory it should be possible provided there are enough bets that meet my selection criteria and that they offer acceptable odds, however neither of these factors are ones that I have much (or in reality any) control over.

I just missed out on achieving £7,500 for the month - by £78.00! Had I not taken the day off on Saturday I think I would have made it. But such is life. I can live with £7,400 tax-free income for the month. The question is can I make £10,000 in July. Only time will tell...and I will try and keep my head down and my mouth shut (which should help)

The weather was too good and we had neighbours over for a social so I only managed to place 2 bets today. Comment:

It seems that the moment I open my big mouth about what I can achieve exactly the opposite happens. I've said it before (and I'll say it again) I'll try and keep my mouth shut and my head down!

The 'problem' today was not so much the 2 lost bets but rather the fact that all the other bets I had offered relatively small returns and therefore I had little opportunity to 'claw back' the loss. Such is life.
