Today there were plenty of bets that met my criteria (Hooray!). And even though I had a loss on one bet I still returned a good profit for the day. I still think, however, that August will be a 'tough' month - but I'd love to be proved wrong.

I have 'tightened-up' my selection criteria (again!) for this month. Happily it did not have the negative impact I was expecting - although I am sure it will have in due course. My main aim is to reduce the losses, which are costly to put it mildly.

I am still working on increasing the Daily R.O.I. but my efforts in this area have yet to be applied. Slow and sure that's the motto for this month.

A better day to round off the month - but sadly I missed my July target of £8,500 by a long way! It was due to my appalling start to the month. August will be a struggle I suspect - but we shall see.

As you can see I have stopped reporting the "Year-to-Date R.O.I". The reason is because it is becoming a 'silly' number. The "Month-to-Date R.O.I." figure is far more meaningful (and helpful).

Another small step in the right direction. I'll need to average £342.00 per day until the end of the month if I am to beat last month's profit. A big ask in my opinion (but we will see - fingers crossed!). My forecasts suggest I'll be around the £6,900 mark by the month end.
