yes it's online and I agree with your point about tuning in having been told on 5Live that the tennis "is on Live right now on 5live sports extra", only to tune in and hear the jingle yet again. this happened the other day at 2:30 p.m. so. I tuned in only to hear later that coverage wouldn't start until 4 O'clock.
Sports feeds are a disgrace. No reason why they can't be within 1 second of real time like RUK horse racing tracks. I think TNT is about 20 seconds behind live, unfathomable.

The best live feed you can get is the odds, without even trading you look at the odds and you even know when someone has just double faulted.
I did this with my friend the other day, predicting a host of BPs whether they would be saved or not

I don't think we'll ever get back to actual live coverage like we had 50 years ago, sadly, but there's no need for the deliberate built-in delays on terrestrial telly. I suppose it's to allow a delay for bad language or other unscheduled rudeness. Still annoys me though.
Terrestial tv was great. Close to live pictures for lots of sport. 2 decades later and delays increased exponentially

According to legend, once at the Australian Open, a courtsider at a women’s match was tapping his phone underneath a towel in his lap. Security approached him with a more disturbing type of disdain than usual: Several spectators had suspected him of masturbating to the players on court.“Enjoy getting your rocks off to women’s tennis, huh?” the security guard said. Somewhat bafflingly, the man thought it would be as bad to admit to courtsiding, so he accepted the charge, paid a $560 fine, and was given a 24-hour ban from the grounds. In the end, being an admitted public masturbator resulted in a far shorter ban than being an admitted courtsider, which would have kept him out for the rest of the tournament.
24 hour fine only
very strange to watch what you thought were live pics, but actually know a goal had already gone in and you're just waiting for it to happen, you end up passively cheering, as if you were watching MOTD already knowing the result.

I backed Andreeva with a fairly modest stake because it had a sort of Sod's Law inevitability to it because of the political situation. Should've had a more substantial bet in hindsight, but still.
Nice bet. 1.7x Kostyuk was somewhat suprising

When was the last time current doubles partners ended up facing each in a slam final? which is what could happen with Mirra/Shanider? if it's ever happened before.

There's a sprinkle of Su-Wei Hsieh about Maja.
Is that 'not even Su-Wei-Hsieh knows what Su-Wei-Hsieh is going to do next'

Might have been happy to take the loss to watch the final live...

Wimbledon should have somehow taken place in 2020 rather than creating a hole in it's history, but because they were randomly insured against a pandemic of that nature, they never bothered trying.
yeah Serena robbed of her last realistic chance. Hard to see who would have stopped Novak that year.
