a DF after just winning three games is also very Coco.

By:
you just never know what you're going to get with Miss. Gauff these days. it's wonderful!
By:
by the way, just to avoid confusion, that's her nickname. Kamilla Rakhimova is here. she introduced herself like this on What The Vlog and it always reminds me of her now. it stuck

some funky doubles pairings have been formed to make up this IW doubles field!
Emma Rad & Gab Ruse Mirra & Vicky Belinda & Sori Donna & Sloane Iva & Alex |
By:
will be interesting to see how Dayana copes with all Alex's screaming fans later on. Dayana really should have the higher level of the two despite her recent patchy form. but the market loves Eala and her trillion fans and has made her favourite

Sinner & Opelka in ATP. At least it will be easy for the opponents to decide who to target. Just hit at the oversized man from America and the ball will come back to the bottom of the net.

serious question, should Coco serve underarm in these type of matches?
I believe it would help her chance in a match like today, but it's not something that's going to work against the better players. |
By:
eventually she needs to work this problem out.
By:
heard from edy much lately? any chance he'll be able to return here? he was a fantastic contributor to this forum and his presence is sorely missed..
By:
he posts hipster news to me on twitter.
By:
what is this shot selection from Coco?
By:
she's being helped by playing a barely top 100 player.
By:
who's just as nervous as she is.
By:
Coco's been given strict instructions from Gavin MacMillan on the process to follow for her serve. it seems to be taking an absolute age for the new techniques to embed and to eliminate her problems. depending on how comfortable she is hitting them, the odd underarm serve probably wouldn't be the worst tactic in the world for her
By:
never in doubt.
By:
can't believe Coco just won her 3rd slam!
By:
Kamilla is a top 75ish sort of player at this point. she's improved a bit
By:
Count Jaqula 1.04 in a bit of danger here now. Joint has rallied back into this
By:
She was already in a dogfight against Tjen.
By:
Come on Jaq, do it for your gynecologist uncle!
By:
haha that was super random, Andrew Krasny & Jaq waiting for them to turn the mic live after she'd just beaten either Madison Keys or Emma Navarro at Charleston
By:
Maya with a weak back but market not reacting
By:
it could be a bit of a tactic, do we trust her? I know she did fall and touch it, but I think she could carry on
By:
wiping her face for some reason.
By:
faking an injury doesn't really benefit her.
By:
could also be one of these screwjobs where Maya resumes playing in 10 mins, breaks, wins the tiebreak and the match, then doesn't turn up for her next round match due to her back injury
By:
if I was Jaq I'd be pissed off about this
By:
yeah, this being so close to the finish must be why the market isn't reacting more.
But winning 9 pts with a weak back is a big ask. |
By:
Immediate treatment usually indicate it's bad (unless it's tactical).
By:
Jaq should be pissed about this
By:
testing, testing?
By:
have they put a censor in place? when I try to write the word missed but starting with a p instead of an m, the post doesn't go through?
By:
market makers not watching.
Odds were stuck at same odds for the longest time, now that umpire types in MTO odds go down to 1.17 |
By:
that word has always been frowned upon here, but used to go through as ****, not an eaten post.
By:
pissed
By:
but now it's an eaten post?
By:
yes
![]() |
By:
thanks for confirming. I wonder when that changed. I tried to post that Jaq should be ()issed about this delay
By:
glad it didn't effect her. well done Count Jaqula!
By:
I got locked out of my 365 account, did Jaq win the final 2 points easily? Maya couldn't move properly?
