ATP Tour @atptour
For the first time at a Grand Slam Battle of the Lorenzos I wonder what Paolo Lorenzo thinks of this. |
|
By:
I had to switch off the round up day of yesterday's action on the Aussie Open youtube channel, they have some robotic, AI American guy, these social media people really don't know their audience.
Badosa in trouble, Kessler losing to moneybags |

By:
Paolo was a Lorenzi not Lorenzo
|
|
By:
we call him Lorenzo to wind edy up, it's his favorite player.
|

He always looked like a homeless Italian painter who'd you imagine be sat on a park bench somewhere in Rome on a summers day in his spare time, appearing disheveled and desolate whilst really being a fountain of untapped knowledge, watching the world go by looking around for his next subject matter to appear, before walking home secretly excited as he looked forward to reaching for his pastels and canvas board again as new inspiration struck.
Think he's still also still the oldest player with first title. |

mes that's very strange, I had the same experience as you with the day 4 round up on the AO YouTube channel. a guy talking like a robot trying to explain tennis to a 7 year old, it was so painful. was it the same thing days 1-3? I only put it on because it came up on my recommended feed

I did not watch any of that, but had to have a look now. Australian Open are getting roasted in the comments for this

they seemed to start the round up action from day 3 with the robot voice, didn't see any for Round 1 and 2, only 3 and 4, most American accents barring coastal or southern areas, are hard to listen to at the best of time because of how monotone it is, to make it AI as well makes it worse, don't know why they're not just using an authentic Aussie accent which sounds much better and softer on the ear drums.
anyway, hope everyone is bright eyed and bushy tailed ready for SoriGOAT's slow destruction of Osaka. |

Naomi so uncomfortable in this interview.
|

By:
I'm surprised Chanda even brought it up. These interviews are often so powder puff.

Naomi was still salty that Cirstea was salty so a good time to ask before they recompose !
