Genie was actually decent in the doubles dead rubbers last year but obviously Marino's hot form and Dabrowski continuing to be a doubles god means there's unlikely be any place for her especially as she's seemingly gone to the pickleball dark side permanently and  Slaylah can play doubles if absolutely needed.

I really thought that Bibi was making participation a 2024 priority after her social media posts on the back of Canada's 2024 heroics and the spotlight that's going to be on Canada. It's cemented her place in the 2025 MIA stakes as I'm really not sure where all this is going.

Unfortunately we had some tech issues and the match got suspended before the end. The team are currently looking into the next match for  Sabalenka vs Gauff.  This will be resolved as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience caused- Samira

6-1 to 6-4 in that TB and Saba misses a sitter to go 6-5, that could have been carnage if she lost that TB !

Would been nice if Saba wins this tournament to crown her season as number 1.

The intern at German nando's has multiple times this week failed to include the WTA Finals singles matches as something that's allowed under German law as a big enough competition.

Including today for the current final of the finals.

The WTA125 Cali final they recognise as a big and prestigeous enough event though.

No, it will not be the same reason Betfair missed SF markets initially. German nando's also missed some group stage matches while having others. I am pretty certain it is connected to German regulation that requires bookmakers to only offer betting on competition that meet a certain threshold of "bigness"/importance. In the case of tennis it's ITF W100 and Challenger 100 and upwards.

The document from the authorities is probably written a bit sloppily and then the intern doesn't recognise that the WTA Finals are kind of important and allowed.
