Stefanos loves Petros more than he loves Paula. Sad

Petros is a doubles specialist. I think the correct decision was made here

don't be silly, have you seen them play?
By:
edy
When: 03 Jun 24 14:21
Yes, they need as much practice as they can get.

Gauff/Siniakova vs. Shibahara/Wang right-handed next round. Proper blockbuster that.

whoever made the call did the right thing. None of them should be playing extra tennis at this stage.

Toad I had a weird feeling that 1.01 would be gubbed at the 1st in Gowran Park today, about 30 mins before the race. In my head the two horses at the top of the market finished in a near dead head and 1.01 would be gubbed. As it turned out the favourite got overturned by a huge rag in the final strides and the favourite hit 1.01... for £8 traded Laugh

Yet another limp exit looming from Roland Garros for MedHead, like Sampras he just cannot play on it, losing to De Manure as well.

De Manure had only ever won 1 match against a top 10 players in a grand slam before today from 10 matches played, and that win was against Nishikori who has always been made out of bamboo and held together with a bit of prit stick, he was injured anyway, that was the last match he played for 12 months. That tells you how bad Medvedev's loss was to him today.

does it make you feel sad and blue mes?

I like Med, so wanted him to stay, I don't like De Manure, so bad result all round, never touched Med in the outright market though because that would of been daft, he can never win the French, he can win Wimbledon though, has a more suited game for it.

edy does the withdrawal of Tsitsidosa mean that Ena's doubles career goes from strength to strength or will Team Ena have to play a replacement team?
By:
edy
When: 03 Jun 24 15:43
It was a walkover. Team Ena will start its tournament in the second round against Team Siegemund.
By:
edy
When: 03 Jun 24 15:45
With it being the second Monday already, they probably couldn't find anyone on site to come in as alternates.
By:

When: 03 Jun 24 15:46
oh. didn't Team Tsitsidosa withdraw in the correct way? it was a 1st round match and surely there was an alternate team available?
By:

When: 03 Jun 24 15:46

Did Musetti play Novak into form?
By:
wisewords
When: 03 Jun 24 15:48
a bit, but this Cerundolo guy really isn't the one (unless Novak suddenly becomes super tired in the 3rd set or something)
By:
mesmerised
When: 03 Jun 24 15:53
Novak doesn't need or want another marathon so really wants this done in 3 quick straight sets, probably not even fully recovered from that Mussetti match
