Yes. All started by that crazy tiebreak between Blinky and Rybakina. If Rybakina had cleared the net at 13-12 in the tb (which she would do 39 times out of 40) then her opponent wasn't getting anywhere near it and Rybakina probably gets to the final. An extraordinaly 30 minutes that may never be repeated on either tour.
Iga losing to a player that then got a pass to the quarters and clearly didn't see Dayana as a serious threat till her backside was on the plane back to Czechia.

Novak has been an extraordinary example of the way that a human being can achieve the extraordinary. I do think that Sinner's time has probably come though and the carotas will be causing misery with their dancing on the streets of South Tyrol later on.

A night match and we could have had a 5 set thriller with both players producing insane rallies. Could have been one for the ages. This has been pretty damp so far. Hardly many electric rallies.
Both the 2008 and 2011 wins were pretty significant. 2011 the birth of Super Novak. Remember Roger was big fave going into that one after Novak had been his whipping boy in previous meetings.

The thing I remember most about Kvitova's win over Genie in the Wimbledon final a decade ago was how comfortable an experience it was for Petra. There wasn't a moment from the first ball to the last that she doubted she would win and pressure didn't come into the story at all. Today may have been a different scoreline but Aryna staying in that comfort zone and not doubting that she would ultimately prevail is a humbling experience for an opponent.
