march is probably my favourite month for tennis outside of slams, love indian wells and miami so much

I've never been a fan of Sabalenka mostly because I've rallied against brute force and one dimensional tennis, whilst she still goes for broke on so many shots she is now a better player who can actually play a bit as well. Always good to see a new winner on one hand but on the other wta tennis seriously needs some consistent slam winner to get these rivalries going that can transcend the sport like it has in men's tennis, just hasn't happened in years now and I've lost count of the number of different number 1's. Having said all of the that the last couple of years Saba has looked half decent on clay despite it being her weakest surface in theory, so she can win it but the trend would be for another new winner, someone like Jabeur, Garcia, Kasatkina, Collins or Badosa. On one had that makes it interesting on the other it doesn't grow the sport especially given there's still not anyone that wants to be a media star or darling, there's a lot of quiet Eastern European girls who just want to go about their business.

caramba do you have any idea when we can expect Kyrgios to be back on tour? he was making quite good progress last year reaching the Wimbledon final and followed that up with a decent run to the QFs of the US Open. he would have made the men's singles at this Aus Open much more exciting/entertaining if he hadn't injured his knee

We have witnessed greatness here wisey. Novak in second gear can't drop a set to anyone on tour, so the only battle is with himself.

It's sad how the tour has completely fallen apart. Tsitsipas hasn't progressed in the past 3.5 years, Medvedev going backwards, Father time catching up with Rafa, Alcaraz injured, Thiem and Zverev ruined by injuries, only the latter might recover. As a result we got the most boring non-Wimbledon Slam in about 20 years.

It's another generation sidleined by the Elite. For Tsitsipas, Zverev and that Russian bloke that said he was in the new big 3 read JWT, Berdych, Raonic.
Novak will plough on for another 3 or 4 years right at the front masking this till the next batch are ready to try.

If there is an unluckier sporstman in history than Murray then I'd like to who it is, to have had to be the best active player outside of the 3 greatest tennis players of all time playing them throughout their prime is as unfortunate as it gets. Though walking away with 3 slams, 2 golds, World Number 1, Davies Cup and a load of masters is not too shabby, also managed to beat them a load of times albeit mostly in smaller events, must have the best h2h record v those 3.

Home and away getting more viewers, cannot believe that show is even still going, even Neighbours has been discontinued, read not so long ago that the character called Jessy in show from many years ago, topped himself, he was one of the few good good actors who could have gone hollywood.
