Good day, Mates and Madettes!
I am glad to interest you in a new edition of the long-running tennis subforum tradition.
Pick a player each day. If your player wins, you advance to the next day and get to pick again. At the end, glory, lots of forum cred and an entry into the competition's hall of fame (if anyone can be arsed with updating it) awaits the ultimate winner. If your player loses, you are out and eternal shame shall fall upon on. Each player can only be chosen once, so maybe don't pick your favoured finalists on the first two days. If the first set was completed and your player retires, it counts as a loss. If your pick withdraws or retires before the first set is completed, you can pick from another match that hasn't been started yet. So retirement rules are basically the same as on the Betfair Exchange.
If matches are rescheduled due to rain, you are not allowed to pick it on the new day (e.g if Lorenzi-Nakashima is originally scheduled for day 1, but it rains and doesn't start on day 1, starts on day 2 instead...you are not allowed to pick it for day 2. You are however of course allowed to use it as your day 1 pick). If it comes to such a scenario, I will try to point out which matches you are not allowed to pick on the day.
The picks continue every day until only one person is left, everyone has been eliminated, or the tournament has finished.
Picks don't have to be made before all play starts for the day, but it naturally should be made before the match that your pick
Rule change: As you might or might not remember, during the US Open edition I asked about the continued use or change of the tiebreaking rule that was used throughout the 2021 suicide tennis season. By popular demand, the tiebreaker rule is henceforth eradicated without replacement. Only the survived days count. If multiple people reach the same day, they will share the same spot in the final standings.

You are not allowed as a late entry into this current competition, Giuseppe.
The lifetime ban however was a joke. You can play at the next major, Roland Garros, if you have a valid vaccination status when the tournament begins and if start on the first day like everyone else.

In the past the really eager champions like our all-time winningest competitor n88uk sometimes kept going to see how far they could go, but that is purely optional. The victory is yours already.
Well done, TheGoddess! To me, it's exciting. Not the loss itself, but, like, the person I lost to, because it's like showing the growth of the suicide tennis competition. I feel like now I'm in this position where if I lose to someone, it might make a headline, but I also think it kind of grows more superstars and I feel that's good for the game.

Berrettini knocked out of Wimbledon, Roland Garros and Flusing Meadow by Djokovic and that opponent is not here this time - wish I'd been brave enough at the start of the tournament to back him each way at 50/1, think he can beat Nadal in the semis and the place bet would have been well rewarded.

Actually looking at it again we're both wrong 
thegoddess has picked all four semi-finalists so is boxed in (a bit like the old arcade/mobile phone 'snake' game).
The only way you could do a perfect run would be to be very good at picking winners the round before they go out to somebody else.
