It's time for the first Slam of the year. So far it hasn't been as happy as it usually is, because of the poor air quality and all the controversy surrounding that, but hopefully things will get better in these two weeks. Unfortunately lots of players are missing this one because of injury, but out of the legit contenders all the big names are there with the exception of Bianca Andreescu.

Yen-Hsun Lu, more known as Rendy, makes his return after a nearly two year long absence. His most recent Slam appearance was at US Open 2017.
He plays Gael Monfils in Round 1.
