I was, but I now see that you totally must have changed the initial rules, because I would never get these things wrong otherwise.

thanks :)
I was dreading this due to some of my terrible pics early on so thanks for doing it for me. I've heard some good things about Luca Nardi btw. Agreed about Rafael Nadal being invalid, even now with there being another Rafael Nadal in the tennis world. For the next edition, I'll add the rule that players have to be actually born in order to be eligible. |

and to maintain fairness, not only edy's spelling errors should be mocked. I mean Holgar

That's cool too, but it's more special when a player that hasn't already done things on the main tour, starts having success.

By:
plus everyone knows about his success already, so no need for me to post updates
Everyone doesn't follow the hipster circuit. |

Exactly. That's a more succint version of the point I was making (badly) on the WTA thread. It's apples and oranges really. |

So people can get an overview on everybody's selections and how they are doing, I have posted the team the players belong to, how many points they have acquired and their current ranking. I might do the same with the WTA picks one day. I only came up with a witty name for Journeyman's team, but I am open to suggestions.

The Journeymen
The rankings of my guys look relatively poor but come on. Edy and I are working hard to pick players that are either juniors or hipsters. You picked Shelton and you've just picked a player that was in the third round of a slam when you picked him! It would be fairer to put * astersisks after the players who had been picked BEFORE they played on the main tour? I still believe in Kilian. He has had some horrid orthopedic issues but he is probaly 4-6 years away from when he will really deliver.None of which detracts from how cool Aaron's picks look. Just the two of them picked 4 years ago, Rune is one good coaching decision away from multiple slams and Musetti is probably the most exciting young player on the planet. |
|
By:
Arrong's picks not that impressive imo. He had first dibs on Alcaraz and went with other players. 2002-2003 a fairly strong generation, it's been slim pickings after that.

Tbf you came very close to being the first contestant to have two of their own flags contest a final.
I wonder who will be the first to manage that, probably aarong's trousers. Edy needs a second 'steady-man' to go on a run, at the moment he's poking them with a stick saying do something. |
