but edy tricked me into picking Priska?
that was very nasty behavior from edy the bleep bleep bleep indeed, but there's nothing in the rules against doing dirty tricks. Everybody is responsible for the picks they make.

Ane Mintegi del Olmo
Won her first professional title today. None that will give any points for this competition, it was the W25 in Heraklion, but hopefully a first step of things to come after so many struggles with injuries during the past years.

You should have just posted 'L.Samsonova' and confused everyone who would have thought it was the less talented one
Laura S would have been even better.

Does SaMeBe get two more picks for that alternate table then this year? Sounds complicated.I think it's perfectly fine. If he ends up beating us, which he won't, we'll just put a mahoosive asterisk next to his victory.
You can asterisk all you want, a win is a win!
Me not going with Timofeeva had nothing to do with reactions, but I felt that Timofeeva had a high ceiling of 1 pt and was not worth to waste a pick on at the time (this might prove wrong, because she did well in Melbourne) whereas I think Diana could potentially gain more than that. Plus 1 pt can be important at this stage of the game. This competition is about getting to 15 pts. Which strategy to use to get there is up to each contestant.

Laura Samsonova decided she doesn't want to be confused with the other Samsonova, and take advantage of Czech laws from a few years ago that enables women to scratch the ova, so she now goes by Laura Samsonhttps://www.itftennis.com/en/players/laura-samson/800578274/cze/jt/s/o... my flag from January 1 this year to avoid any confusion.
This is quite funny. The Czechs add ova to foreign players and now one of their own got rid of its ova.
