Iirc Japan got mega screwed after playing South Africa having to play like 3-4 days later vs Scotland and lost, their only loss, but South Africa beat Scotland and Japan ended up going out on bonus points or whatever crap.
By:
shut up, grant
By:
By:
Japan probably would have qualified from the group stage had they not had to play a game 4 days after their epic win against South Africa, one of the biggest upsets in any sport ever.

Russians historically haven't been able to over eat on protein. similarly India and Ethiopia are unlikely to succeed in rugby ball
By:
imho

By:
we played rugby (indoors) in 6th grade once or twice. Brutal stuff.
By:
Rugby sucks hard to play, especially as you always play it when it's freezing cold.
By:
And your options are freeze or get involved in rucks and people kicking you for sake of it as boys of that age do.
By:
I took the freeze option and stand out on the wing and hope the ball didn't come my way.

STRONG EGYPTIAN CUP
By:
Also at juniors obviously people break all the rules about safety of tackles, and you get people like pulling you down by the neck.
By:
I played until the age of 16. I was much better at Football and Cricket.
By:
Now I just drink.
By:
Cheers I guess
By:
never played cricket in me life, or proper rugby.
By:
'touch' rugby can be fun.
By:
I probs sucked, but I never tried. I used some cons at school to often skip what I wanted in PE, so we'd do things in 6 week blocks, and for like 4-5 weeks of the rugby I would be injured or ill so couldn't partcipate. Did the same con for gymnastics too.
Then magically for X-Country the next week I'd clean up as this was my forte at the time. |
By:
I used to hate kids that did such things.
By:
Yeah, Gymnastics probably the most dangerous thing going.
By:
Cricket is just so boring. When I was very young I actually played to a reasonable standard but I found it so boring. You sit around for hours doing nothing.
By:
as much as I hated ship tag at gym class I still always participated.
By:
You play for like 6-8 hours at that age but you're involvement is like an hour max of that.
By:
Well it is a social game as much as anything at club level.
By:
Yer some people used to moan openly about what I was doing.
By:
sounds a very bad sport for young children then :(
By:
Back in the day, under 11's cricket was twenty overs a side, before T20 was a thing. It would be mid-week affair after school and take about 3 hours and most would have got a decent game in.
By:
we only played brännboll, which is similar to softball.
By:
Yer I used to play 20 overs and some 40 overs I think it was? Might have been 50, but felt like 40 from memory, but given this was over 15 years ago now.
By:
Cricket is one of those things I think Caramba that youngsters either love it or absolutely hate it.

Ran out of ideas*
By:
you got 17.
By:
It seems sorta thing that would be impossible to get 25.
By:
if you only get 25 guesses, then yes.
