Regardless of how many hate preachers there actually are compared to the total number of muslims: The west, or some countries, was rather silly in just being happy at saving costs by letting Saudi Arabia build mosques and sent their ultraconservative, ultrapatriarchic imams to them instead of strengthening the many more liberal muslim streamings.

I've also heard Christianity is the true religion of peace. Conflicts and wars generally have very little to do with religion, be it Christianity or Islam, and a lot to do with power hungry men (sometimes employing useful idiots on the grounds of selective religious readings)
