Bertens was one of my 4 WTA picks for Madrid in the WTA comp, not a single person in the top 20 picked her.
The other 3 were Halep/Fred West/Muguruza. I'd pick Soft Hands Daria for the French as a dark horse outsider. Even Pliskova has sudddenly become a ClayGOAT out of nowhere recently and has to be considered, beforehand I wouldn't have done. |
