Tipsarevic is a real Lucky Loser. Got Nishikori's spot after losing to Eubanks in the Qs (and after barely beating 900+ ranked McNally in R1 of Qs in the decider TB), and moved directly to the R2 of the MD. Will face Ferrer.

Fabbiano is a similar story. Lost to Krueger in two sets in R2 of Qs, got Federer's spot and will play in R2 of MD (Khachanov).

I had a nibble off set two winner lay on abanda and Mugda couldn't hold after the break. Abanda is a terrible player but here she looks a lot better. She has more NA HC experience than mugda these past few weeks
