Nara is eating Petko's soul

By:
omg a wild Sharaopova appeared at Stanford WTA
By:
why isn't Konta playing Stanford?
By:
Resting. But I don't know why so few players are playing. Doesn't Stanford have like 1 top 20 player. That's awful for a premier.
By:
Well 1 top 15 player maybe.
By:
Everyone saving themselves for Canada and Cincy this year seemingly.
By:
But Stanford was stronger last year during Olympic year and this never normally is the case.
By:
Well that's true, but there looks some very soft points on offer this week. Still a lot of points that you have to make F in those events to better.
By:
When you look at Stanford, or least when I looked at the draw, the only real threatening non-seed was Sharapova, which shows you how weak the draw is depth wise. But then this is going to open a lot of opportunities for someone most likely to make some big points for their ranking.
By:
Petko back to mugging.
By:
I can understand players who played last week, or even the week before not wanting to play. but players like Ka Plis who went out quite early Wimbledon and then played nothing since, I don't really get it

Nara eating Petko's soul again
![]() |
By:
Playing those clay events is muggery really unless you're clay specialist or just low ranked player vulturing.
By:
Pliskova defends a truck load coming up too. But then again so does Halep who is closest to her.
By:
And Kerber who is next closest
. |
By:
edy do something quickly
By:
Petko is getting beaten up by Nara again
By:
Pliskova could be #1 with 0 tier I titles or above in a few weeks.
By:
Can see Halep coming out of this stretch overall though, ie. after US Open, as #1.
By:
did edy fall asleep?
By:
That's basically an invitation to do your money right now when you phrase it like that.

Svitolina seems a decent price outright looking at it.
By:
omg Petko fell but still somehow got the ball back
By:
but lost the point

By:
AUF GEHTZ PETKORAZZI
By:
some funky points in the Petko match.
By:
Svitolina is over double the price of what the market thinks are like the 7 leading contenders and is better than some of them imo, and the likes of Kvitova are shorter too (honestly this seems terrible, her record at US Open is really average).
By:
specsavers for Petko
By:
oh Petko
By:
The year Kvitova lost to Pennetta when Pennetta went on to win, which Kvitova never should have lost but she melted, was the only real year I can even remember Kvitova playing well at the US Open.
By:
Medvedev going mad to the sound of silence as he breaks.
By:
very sad watching Petko like this
By:
Petko has been worse than this at times this year.
By:
There's no way I'd speculate @ 16/1 on a player with her record at USO and all the question marks over her. We just saw her melt badly at Wimbledon in relatively mild conditions compared to those you see in the US, and she melted real fast.
By:
true |
By:
That and her 1 QF ever at USO, that's just a bad price imo. Many players below her have more chance most likely.
