The mugs are really out today. I tried to trade wta at stanford and every match was a bloody train except Giorgi. WTF is going on? First round matches are always meant to be dirt.
By:
I dunno why the draws are so weak tbh. It's same on WTA side, I dunno why so few players want to play this week.

Pospisil another retirement candidate
By:
Seriously. I layed Georges because I thought since she wouldn't be that bothered this week and retired last week so may not be fully up to the task. On the other hand I thought Abanda who's trying to be an up and comer on the hard courts could at least rattle her. Abanda had one break point the whole match and couldn't convert. Georges had a look on her face of complete boredom that the match was so easy. The competitiveness isn' there this week. The gulf of players is pathetic
By:
Abanda is bang average.
By:
There will be plenty of up and comers winning as outsider though most probably.
Day, Andreescu, Sabalenka 3 already today. Young, hungry players out to impress and ready to take advantage in less than stellar draws, thus a big opportunity for points for them. |
By:
Day was 1.83 today so wasn't an outsider. Sabalenka I was interested in but thought abanda could at least break Georges serve. Zero trade and without 400
By:
Tbf I thought Sabalenka would get owned.
By:
These are quicker courts than you normally see though. Especially Stanford which is an ice rink.

Is this laakonsen mug finished now? what a pathetic clown.
By:
This Halebain fella looks like a guy who's about to go on a sesh in downtown Ibiza
By:
What a mug Vikhylantseva. Just was in very good position on break point, and her hair band fell out so replay the point and broken instead.
By:
Scouser head on top of him
By:
What a **** Laaaksonen. Going for the double break down now
By:
guys know of any good stats site for scraping tennis data?
By:
Bangoura looks like your typical African mug.
By:
Vagseal just hit the floor trying to defend from the deadly laaksonen. Laaksonen clearly knows the importance of the 8th game. Breaks both sets then
By:
wow pospisil busted a short one
By:
What a mug this pospisil. From 3-1* double bp => 3-5*
By:
He was free money till that point. at least you could trade out easely if you backed him from start.
By:

By:

So vultured the 2 tournaments he didn't need to play like anyone in like the top 50 (?) and then ducked the tougher opposition in Washington.

The tougher opposition is playing beach volley in los cabos right now. Expect a lot of tanks there. Why on earth would you go there one week before a masters if its not for holidays.

Usually the moon controls the ocean, but not so sure that will happen today.
