n88uk I used to think you were quite harsh when you used to slag off the likes of Bradnam on the commentary. But I can't defend Smith or Durie, they're both absolutely dreadful. Especially Jo Durie, it's like listening to a pre-school teacher explaining tennis to you.

I found Sam Smith very bizarre on the last match when she took over after set 1. She was trying to give a load of feel good stories about Sharapova, given she's a nice girl really stories. I didn't really get what she was doing tbh.

Turned it off after the first set so didn't hear any of those.

She also did her usual at the end of that match, can't even remember what it was now, said something about Sharapova, that I'm pretty sure she just made up on the spot. Her usual tactic of say something that sounds plausible so people believe it, but in reality she just completely made it up.
