overall I've been extremely unlucky with retirements this year, having injuries come out of nowhere with no possibility to get out. this one was muggery on my part, I didn't pay enough attention in the 1st place, then I did have chances to get out when I realized he was in bad shape but didn't due to greed and thinking if he was good enough to win the 2nd he'd be alright. nothing too serious (today's work), but still an annoying loss.
