Once you are ready to really suffer on court, results and titles follow. Will be great to have his refreshing tennis at top tournaments if he keeps this form for the season.

![]() I wonder if there ever was a male tennis tournament winner from Georgia before. Gabashvili was born in Georgia but he's been competing under the Russian flag his whole career. There was a female tennis star from Georgia in the past, Leila Meskhi. She was ranked #12 in 1991 and won 5 tournaments in her career, as well as bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics. |

was a good match up for him in the final. he would have been toast if basi had a transition game.
incidentally caramba - are you safe? heard about the awful attacks in Sweden.... |
|
By:
The commentator said Bashy had a similar game to Blake, as in, if it's not working just smash the ball harder.
|
|
By:
definitely signs of that. blake did come in though didn't he?
harrison moves well and was invading the line judges' personal space in most rallies, all basi had to do was look to constantly move forward, instead, he just tried to hit it harder. I'd say he was more like a sh1t "sh1t wawrinka" (pre 2012) trying to win every point from the back. |

A reference to Trump saying something went down last night in Sweden. Novikov wanted no part of that match there.
