Morland Sanders investigates the impact of Brexit on Britain's health service as it faces the largest nursing shortage in recent times, with more than 20,000 vacancies nationwide. He discovers NHS chiefs are unable to recruit new staff from Europe and uncovers evidence that the Government's attempts to boost homegrown recruitment are failing to fill the gaps

We allow AfD to speak in Germany. Should've allowed Erdogan and other members of the Turkish government to speak as well. It's not for our government to handle such things. Freedom of speech and all. It's for the population to make its displeasure known like the Berkeley students did with Milo (maybe with a bit less violence)

The wannabe dictator calling us nazis is of course distasteful

@EuropeElects
Netherlands: Today's I&O poll shows GL (G/EFA) second and PPNL (G/EFA) in parliament. #Wilders' PVV (ENF) 3 %p behind #Rutte's VVD (ALDE).

Should've still let them talk. This entire episode in Germany and the Netherlands just gave more "us against them" and publicity to the wannabe dictator. Much more than simply letting them talk would've given them.

it's what they do. Look at Trump, look at Wilders, look at Le Pen. It's all part of their plan.

Turkey and Islam showed its ugly hand yet again, and the people will be swayed, fair enuff.

if we had voted remain, they wouldn't have had a genuine case for another generation at least

the EU vote is a major change that makes things different here

according to VVD spin doctors this is debatable. last day they made Rutte come off as a strong leader. behind closed doors, they argue letting foreign turkish minister speak would have been worse and give wilders more twitter tinder

How can Rutte be the leader of the, literally, liberal Freedom party if he doesn't respect freedom of speech. As I said, it should be the people holding a protest outside of the turkish rallies, not the dutch/german government forbidding the talking.

The media should give less attention to the Wilders of the world. Stop jumping at every planned provocation and publicity stunt by these types of people, but they won't because it's an unholy alliance that gives them plenty of revenue.

Dori might say the media is all bad and mean, but in reality they are the ones who made Trump possible.

well. they're the conservative party, there aint nothing liberal about them apart from their corporate tax ideas

I don't necessarily agree or disagree with the free speech issue here apart from the fact that it is actually illegitimate for Turkish politicians to lobby outside their borders according to their own laws. and besides that any free country should have some sort of means to prevent and outside entity from disrupting local elections, which is what is happening right now. Erdogan needing expat votes isn't the only thing going on here. Putin is having a laugh I imagine. I won't comment on them instigating any of this because that would be conspiracy talk right
