The coaches linked with England really is awful. Shows you where we are at these days. Though tbh I feel like most national teams are managed by mugs these days, all the good coaches are in club football.

This is why I warned about Italy at the Euros being the only "big" team with a good manager and the difference that could make, and alas Italy looked far better than their team suggested.

This hasn't been mentioned a lot. But you've got guys like Deschamps who in the Euro final were playing Pogba as a holding defensive midfielder basically and playing a guy who got relegated at Newcastle last year in the position Pogba plays for his club.
By:

When: 13 Jul 16 00:11
maybe Pogba is a diva and demanded to be played in that position?

There was shocking decisions seemingly going on everywhere. Belgium's line up was a complete mess, and there manager seems a total mug.

Lahm near the end of his national team tenure always saw himself in defensive midfield even though we had better personnel there

France were bringing on a guy in games who plays in the Mexican league to play the same position Martial has been playing basically all season. What?

and even though Lahm wasn't that good there either and had spent his career as right and left backs

Italy had a garbage team but had a manager who tactically who knew what he was doing, made a big difference. Lots of teams with better players looked far worse because their managers tactically didn't have a clue.

Just 5 second analysis, but yeah cant find better.knows national teams, knows english league, players, still young but experienced and type of coach who can build team from whatever he gets and find style of playing for such bunch.also experience with average mugs team having 2 decent world classers

I would rather we appoint an Eddie Howe too, someone with modern ideas. But we won't.

Pogba can play wherever they told him to do with greater good for team, thats clear.his position is not easily adjustable to style top teams playing currently.he is nox to box player.now either defence or offence.but if someone will build team around him  it will become top team

Would say man city or barca are teams where pogba would fit in just as thry are.otherwise need to build team around him to use his strenghts
