Dimitrov may shine at us open.
Muller at 1000 look worth a few bob. Anderson 270 again is worth a few quid. Goffin makes appeal and could go far. Favourites; Federer is playing well and could make final depending on the draw. Murray and Nadal is a no no! WTA Muguruza not done much since Wimbledon but may come to light with the occasion 43/1 looks good. Kvitova has no real substance to her game but has been on the court loads and could go far 30/1 Venus Williams at 300/1 has to have a say in the matter since its home soil. Favourite Serena as always should do the business. The question is who will she beat in the finals? |

djwebby y not fed? I think that Fed's slam winning days are over and that there are just enough guys around nowadays who can keep things tight and beat him. I've thought this for quite a few years now. He would need the draw to completely fall apart for him to snatch another win and in recent times, he still hasn't been able to do it. |

Above comment you wrote is quite accurate to why I think Federer has a chance. If he wins easily in the early rounds and a few of the seeded players in his field fall then with Federer's recent match stats I would gives him a huge chance to make the final. Plus in slams they get longer rest between matches's bringing out the best from players. I will be surprised if Djokovic does not make finals with his easy draw and Federer did beat him quite convincingly recently in cinci. If anybody it will be Roger Federer who will try his best since his days are numbered with age. |

The courts at the US Open are supposed to be slower than Cinci though.

We should never underestimate the greatness of Roger. If there is one last chance for him to catch a slam, i think this should be it. Everything looks smooth in his game at the moment, just like the old times. Could it last for 2 more weeks? I hope so.

Serena is a lay at her current price for trading purposes. I wrote about this last night. She's traded odds against 6 times in the last 2 grand slams. She was down a set vs Pennetta in Canada, lost to Bencic; down a set to Ivanovic, and down an early break to Halep in Cincinnati. For her to not trade far higher than 1.91 she basically has to front run every match in straight sets.
