As ujsual, tennis is the only sport where they always start 15 minutes after the official start time and players are allowed a 15 minute warm up and rest in a chair before they start playing.

n88, I bow to your knowledge of Basketball which I have never watched. I still can't imagine another sport putting up with the casual observance of time that Tennis have. Imagine the test match with the fielding side having bowling and fielding practice lasting 15 minutes after the umpires take up their place or a premier league football match with warm ups taking place after the start time with the ref standing in the centre circle. There would rightly be an outcry.
