Boxing has its clear market, but shoots itself in the foot in so many ways, that it isn't as big as it should be.

You've got 80,000 watching Froch vs Groves at Wembley.

But the sport is filled with teething issues. The best not fighting the best, convoluted belts system which no-one bar the hardcores will understand (too many world champions etc.), always a dodgy judging decision around the corner too.

You'd think so Aaron, but normally you know who the next PPV star is going to be. Someone is normally rising rapidly behind the current stars. That's not true right now, Mayweather and Pacquiao could be retired by this time next year, and there is no-one immediately to fill that void.

We're talking on a world level here. Because in the UK boxing is actually its healthiest its been in a long time imo in terms of depth.

Yes there were 3 world titles on the line. There are 4 world champions in each division. Mayweather now holds 3 of these for the welterweight division. Kell Brook holds the other actually.

There are quite a number of boxers on the radar in the UK atm. A lot of potential domestic match ups to be made that are interesting. Better than it's been for a long time imo.

It's whether they can get made though.

Fury has the potential to cause Klitschko the most problems anyone has in a long time. Not sure he will win, because his chin is pretty questionable, but he doesn't go in with no hope like most.

Klitschko has generally fought fighers who are far smaller than him and can't get around his huge reach and jab. Fury is bigger than him though. and mobile enough to not be a sitting duck either.
