He'll win it, don;t worry. Laugh
And then he will go out early losing to a no name in Wimbledon. Again! LaughLaughDevil
Report bb66 April 4, 2015 12:32 PM BST
he will struggle to be seeded top 4, if he doesn't win it he will vanish into obscurity, if he wins, it will be his last slam taken.
Report Platini April 4, 2015 1:35 PM BST
I've taken a big position against Rafa. Layed him at 2.70

Expect a sizeable drift (already out to 2.80) as reality kicks in. New Rafa is a a pale imitation of the original. The beast has gone, sadly.

Nole wins this year. Would and should have done last year too if he hadn't mugged about.
Report Platini April 4, 2015 9:15 PM BST
this year, its not just Joker that can beat him on clay.

Monte Carlo will be interesting. Joker, Fed, and Wawa all stand in his way, along with a few former mugs he's lost to recently (Berdych, Raonic, Verdasco).

Nadal will be faVOUTRITE
Report Platini April 8, 2015 11:01 AM BST
He will trade much higher than current price, during the tourney. Does anyone really believe the current Rafa will be bulldozing all his opponents all the way to the final at RG ?

Gentlemen, this is a massive trading opportunity.
Report The Bhoys April 8, 2015 12:13 PM BST
Plat we thought the same last year and he won it quite comfortably
Report Platini April 8, 2015 1:22 PM BST
TheBhoys, there are few bigger fans of Rafa than myself and much as I'd like to believe he could do the TEN (9 is ridiculous anyway), I just don't. It pains me greatly to watch him now.  The beast has gone. His superpowers have gone, the intimidation factor has gone. He's like Samson without his hair. You will never again get the chance to lay him for the French at such low odds.
Report The Bhoys April 8, 2015 2:20 PM BST
in what respect do u mean his superpowers gone plat, hes been injured for a while now, hes getting fitter so i see no reason why he wont dominate again
Report mutley77 April 8, 2015 2:44 PM BST
Nadal isn't Finnish, he's Spanish.

Report Platini April 8, 2015 4:41 PM BST
He's had injuries before, many times, but always bounced back. But this year he hasn't bounced back. He's been losing to mugs not top players. The injuries have taken their toll, the way he plays has taken its toll. He's not old at 28 but his amazing recuperation powers and sheer fitness are nowhere near where they used to be.

Same old story last year

layers got burnt big time on clay

I must fully agree with Platini

If he somehow manages to take the French I'll say he's a God of Clay

Extra week in between his French and prep for Wimbey this season, so should be an improvement in Wimbey form.

Seeding will not matter. Playing Djokovic in the semi for Nadal will probably be better.

Report Platini April 18, 2015 4:22 PM BST
Too easy for Joker
Report bb66 April 18, 2015 5:38 PM BST
Odds for Nadull winning RG should be higher than Djoker doing the Slam in 2015
Report Platini April 18, 2015 7:18 PM BST
1 bookie going 2/1 now. really should be bigger and easily bigger on here. Market in denial still.
Report Welshie5121 April 18, 2015 10:51 PM BST
Could you not see improvement from previous Djoko matches?

Nadal looked like he was finding some decent depth at times (Nadal's biggest and reason he struggles so much vs Djoko imo).

Playing Djokovic high on confidence is tough, let alone the run Nadal is on.

Nadal is the best player at building momentum, he will be a different animal come the French!
Report Platini April 19, 2015 1:24 AM BST
I don't see any improvement in the gap between Nadal and Joker, if anything its wider than its ever been. Remember when Nadal use to boss Joker on a clay court. Those days have gone, it's the other way round now. The Serb has gone up a level at a time when Rafa has gone backwards, thus widening the gap.
Report Platini April 24, 2015 10:34 AM BST
More painful viewing as Rafa gets dumped out early on in a tourney he used to dominate. A tourney missing all the top players as well.
RG odds out to almost 5/2 now. Are you still a backer, TheBhoys ?

Not saying he has backed the gap between himself and Joker, not by any stretch.

I am implying that Djokovic has dominated him over the last few years and Nadal has always edged it out on clay.

Nadal has lost that edge on clay, but I would say that was a better losing performances vs Djokovic than in recent times.

Which imo means he is closing if you catch my drift.

Haven't seen the Fognini match due to a busy week but I wont be worried about Nadal, unless he has two bad tournamnets prior to RG.

There is only one person that can beat him at the French, and the French is bigger for said person than Nadal this year, as it is his time to strike.

Could be set up to be the best French (most open), since Rafa first won the title.
