I layed Halep 2-0 then switched heavily for her to win. A small loss as i came out just to early when it looked like Serena was going to make a come back. Typical of me, could have been far worse tho.

Was just reading it's her worst defeat in 16 years since she lost 61 61 to kruger in Oklahoma in February 1998, I wouldn't say she is finished just yet, it's right at the end of a long season for a 33 year old and with steffi's record in mind, she definitely has the motivation. at the minute I would not be surprised is she lost in R1 Australia or wont he tournament which means she's best avoided altogether.

She was clearly not match fit. She was poor moving around the court, late to the ball and so late on the shots and finding the net. If she plays the same as she did today versus Bouchard tomorrow, Bouchard should win. 1 day is not much of a turnaround.
