Sorry Mr Haven I have been missing from the forum for a couple of years and missed the funeral

there actually was a date of death

knob.vegas spammed the forum into meltdown using a spambot and so BF suspended new account creation for 1-2 years

of course, you can also find threads from 3+ years ago complaining that the forum was dead even back then
