well i imagine it costs them more to maintain a presence than they take in revenue.

personally, i never understood the approach of increasing commission in these territories. increasing rates rarely generates growth.

they abandoned the German hotline already when Germany was excluded due to legal reason, I could also live with abandoning the remaining German helpdesk and the German website, though I don't know if this will be abandoned too when Switzerland is not excluded. They never did advertising in Austria, so I don't see any specific costs.
