The grapevine claims it's do with their coach. But I dunno. I find it hard to believe that's the full extent.
Bouchard and Robson had the same coach, obviously it was coming hard to coach both at same time, and he had to commit to one. |

During the off-season, Robson announced she would be working with both Nick Saviano and Jesse Witten - the former in a consultancy role and the latter as a travelling hitting partner.
Saviano though is current coach of Robson's close friend and rising Canadian star Eugenie Bouchard - hence he can't travel with the Briton - and Croft feels that's not a situation the 20-year-old should be in at this stage of her career, one which has seen her slip down the rankings over the past 12 months. Croft told sportinglife.com : "She's gone with this coach (Saviano) who's with Eugenie Bouchard but he's spending most of his time with her. "Jesse Witten has come in as a 'travelling partner' but that isn't ideal. "It seems half-baked to me. She needs to look to get that sorted out." |
