This might not come as a big surprise since Rafa pretty much wins everything on clay, but everytime Rafa has beaten Ferrer on clay he has gone on to win that tourney. While not a remarkable stat by any means, I do think Ferrer often provides a test where Rafa plays himself into form so even when he has mugged in prior matches, he steps up against Ferrer and keeps this level for the rest of the tournament.
