Tsonga!
Report shiraz January 20, 2014 7:36 AM GMT
Federer has patches of brilliance nowadays rather than entire matches and Tsongas game seems to match up quite well against him.  Price is about right but it could be a long one, Federer 3-1 is a lay at anything shorter than 4.5 for me.
Report Multiple Scorgasms January 20, 2014 8:11 AM GMT
Hopefully will be a nice 5 setter! Grin
Report SecondComing January 20, 2014 8:18 AM GMT
I am not sure about this scheduling, could be a late start for the women

Pretty sure whoever wins this one will win it in 5, Tsonga I reckon is the the better bet
Report shiraz January 20, 2014 8:29 AM GMT
1.01 busted on Murray match set betting.
Report Joker SVK January 20, 2014 8:55 AM GMT
why the one hour delay of their match??
Report shiraz January 20, 2014 8:58 AM GMT
Nadal match did'nt finish until 7pm and this match is a night session so stadium has to be emptied and new ticket holders come in.
Report therhino January 20, 2014 8:58 AM GMT
Another Tsonga backer signing in, and like others expect a long one. Prob doesn't matter which one you back to start if you're a trader, think both will trade lower and higher than their SP,
Report Blake84 January 20, 2014 9:01 AM GMT
If anyone was to win easily though I think it would be Tsonga, so I've backed him to start.
Report pauliow January 20, 2014 9:02 AM GMT
Looking forward to this and I didn't have to get up at some stupid time to watch it. Like you rhino, I'm hoping for a long match, with some trading opportunities.
Report caramba January 20, 2014 9:02 AM GMT
Value with Tsonga. Fed might start well though.
Report nsx January 20, 2014 9:12 AM GMT
time to lay Fed?
Report pauliow January 20, 2014 9:13 AM GMT
I will at 3-0

you can probably wait until he starts to hit a few more shanks.

Report nsx January 20, 2014 9:16 AM GMT
Maybe they will not come today Laugh
Report caramba January 20, 2014 9:18 AM GMT
that's why I suggested you should wait Happy
Report WhiteAl January 20, 2014 9:23 AM GMT
Fed is the king of overhead smashes
Report WhiteAl January 20, 2014 9:25 AM GMT
You can almost always trust him to execute them soundly and effectively
Report pauliow January 20, 2014 9:42 AM GMT
Still think there are twists here. Feds standard will drop and Tsonga will get stronger
Report DStyle January 20, 2014 9:43 AM GMT
yep. it's a waiting game.

ball striking still clean enough to sit on your hands.
Report pauliow January 20, 2014 9:47 AM GMT
Yes agreed DStyle. I think Tsonga has been a tad unlucky so far and Fed has played some great points. Waiting for the change.........
Report nsx January 20, 2014 9:58 AM GMT
Federer still looks amazing
Report nsx January 20, 2014 9:58 AM GMT
currently quite happy didn't put the lay in
Report pauliow January 20, 2014 10:01 AM GMT
I layed at 1.34. Just hoping Tsonga sticks in and Fed breaks down when it gets tight which he's done in the past
Report slip5 January 20, 2014 10:02 AM GMT
federer tired now
Report Rob_The_Bantam January 20, 2014 10:05 AM GMT
Agreed, yet another routine service hold looks to have really taken it out of him.
Report pauliow January 20, 2014 10:06 AM GMT
Tsonga is playing well here. If Feds level drops this will be interesting

Looks all over here, Fed has been awesome Love
Report WhiteAl January 20, 2014 10:20 AM GMT
3-0 for Fed payback for Roland garros?
Report WhiteAl January 20, 2014 10:27 AM GMT
Well if Fed keeps this level up it will be 3-0 in the end
Report shiraz January 20, 2014 10:29 AM GMT
That would be a very pleasing outcome WhiteAl, it would also get the WTA match on at an almost reasonable hour.
Report slip5 January 20, 2014 10:30 AM GMT
you cant tell with fed sometimes his level drops when he looks invincable, his age is the problem
Report WhiteAl January 20, 2014 10:30 AM GMT
Has only been broken once this whole tourney and 1st serve percentage is over the roof today
Report pauliow January 20, 2014 10:30 AM GMT
Which match is that slip5?

Not exactly the fed layers' day today.  Speculating the goats level will drop invitably, but hasn't at all today
Report pauliow January 20, 2014 10:47 AM GMT
A shank!!!!!

For the #1 Swiss ranking, that'd be epic.

If it happens, this needs to be the official match thread for the final:

No, he might choke in his first final.

Looked amazing but wasnt under no pressure whatsoever so it will be interesting to see how he goes on against Murray. Looking forward to it.
