caramba you are having a bubble, when there have been match threads, there have been simultaneous in-play discussions on the mega thread, not only is it a pain to read the two, but makes you feel a lot less inclined to bother posting, don't mind a mega thread personally, but not for big matches - even smaller matches though used to have a lot of posts on them.
Don't see how I am in a bubble, I was among the first ones here to speak up against the mega threads. But they're here now and not going anywhere. I will agree that mega threads have hurt match threads, but as recently as this week we had an almost 500 posts long match thread and there have been some 100-200 long ones so if threads are made and matches are interesting enough they will often generate posts. I've also noticed that people tend to post where others are posting, with the exception of those who are boycotting the mega threads. Again, putting up match threads are encouraged around here.

having a bubble = bubble bath = laugh, you are having a laugh, sry assume your Spanish?
I like the mega thread, but if we have some memorable matches, they will be gone forever into the Dawaj abyss and none to bump in future - like the isner-mahut or mugs bunny one.
The real blame is closed registrations, people come and go and when people are no longer allowed to come for the best part of 18 months I believe, it doesn't help.

this one (Dawaj) did, but there were other mega threads before that, the first one was started a year ago.
