yes, I don't believe it's going to happen at all. but it's the same scenario every week. 20-0 at half time, can the other team come back? answer: probably not but it happens or nearly happens more often than it should

bonus Sunday night NAP of the week: I will point it out every week Laugh

It's not going to get really close. But there also won't be a big enough lead so that I can comfortably go to bed without feeling sure I won't miss anything. Very annoying.

best I can see is that they thought he was going to be old and finnish this year and that their younger guys could replace him

First ever trial about Swedish match fixing taking place at the moment.

What are the actual laws? Because it seems in Europe, it's the fixers who always get in trouble. And the participants never seem to get done.

Don't know. I'm trying to read up on this case.

From what I understand it's only the fixer who is in trouble here. Players were offered 200 000/300 000 SEK (€22k-€33k) to participate, said no thanks but were then threatened. Somehow the players' coach got aware of this the day before the match, he reported it to team owner who reported it to the Swedish football federation and many bookies took the match down. Despite all this, match still ended the way the fixers wanted.

It always seems to be only the fixers that end up in trouble. You don't see many participants behind bars. I don't know if it's because they turn informant or what.

But there's a bunch of matches they know were fixed, and found so in court of law (Bochum cases I think?) which a bunch of those teams and what must have been players it seems like effectively nothing happened to them.

BF policy to always take everything down if one part is affected, right?
