well even if both play their best i dont think it would be an easy match for Serena because she might only have a slight edge over Azarenka in that situation. She can be a class above everyone else on WTA, but she is definitely not a class above Azarenka. Difference between the two is not monumental. And for some weird reason i feel Vika is more relaxed for this.
If Serena was nr.2 in the world and chasing Azarenka, she would feel less pressure for this, i am positive. But now everyone expects her to win, but she knows better then anyone just what Azarenka is capable of. |

With both players form this week you have to give the edge to Serena. She is winning easily however Azarenka can trouble her and is capable of an upset but I think her best result would be just to take 1 set.

That's a good point Shiraz if the underdog serves first in matches over 9.5 1st set games becomes a good bet because they have to be broken twice for it to be under 9.5. Not sure if you can say the same in WTA as they get broken far more regularly.

I thought I wouldn't get involved in this one but 1.80 on Serena 2-0 is a huge tempter. Purely on the basis of her convincing victories over Li, Suarez Navarro (who in the previous match played unbelievable tennis), Stephens (6-4 6-1 !!! ) and Shvedova (6-3 6-1) who had been convincing in her victories prior to playing Serena. And........Azarenka............don't make me laugh.....three setters all over the place, serve not flying... well, well, well. I'm not denying that Azarenka can give her a game, though, we've seen it already.
Quote me if Azarenka wins or takes a set, for the fun of it I don't think that will happen, though. 6-3 6-3, no sweat. |

 she was impressive vs Stephens, but Li and Suarez Navarro were mentally beaten before they came on court, and Slava isn't that good |
