He had a saltire designed into his tennis top to show that he is Scottish ffs. He asks to be introduced to the crowd when he walks onto the court as Scottish not British. He may not be anti-English but he doesn't like being British, that's for sure.

Didn't he even wear a Croatia shirt when England had them in a big football match? Little mug wastes no time in doing the Lampard fingers to the heaven thing when he wins a game though. Yes because pointing to the heavens is a purely English only trait. Lampard was the first, and so far only person to ever do this! |

A lot of the crowd do want to feel part of something and hence obsess over Murray but it's a bit different when it comes to tennis, Murray is registered as British. Sure he's a proud Scot but he's not playing under their flag. And not all English are bitter and want Scot to lose everything

part of being a proud scot is having the occasional dig at the "auld enemy" ...simples innit. he proudly wrapped himself in the Union Jack after winning gold and that will do for me . he is not a product of the Lawn Tennis association ,a very English posh club that has failed the sport and driven people from the game rather than encourage youngsters to take it up .
