It could be a train but who the f is backing the current price.
By:
this kuzzy is not the one kuzzy thou and serena seems to be playing smarter than ever
By:
Sveta can still play excellent on the odd occasion. She went 4-1 up on Vika in Melbourne before Vika fought back

Yer but 1.06 is a joke whatever way you look at it. Serena will be probably double that vs Aga/Errani. Who has more chance Kuznetsova or Aga/Errani?
By:
still 1.06 is no price to back Serena.
problem is that Serena looks like she's on a mission (or just in love?) |
By:
but i hope it will be as close as they used to play in past, maybe seing serena there she will automaticly get the level form the 200x
By:
Nadal was 1.06 today ffs. This price is madness.
By:
Dstyle wot you up to, normally infallible?
By:
1.06 is a lay for me
By:
sveta gonna fight good tomorrow
By:
1.06 is suggesting it's going to be like 6-1, 6-2 job. I think it will be close than that. Market has bought too much into the no-one can stop Serena imo.

wasn't watching when this match happened
Sveta got took to a 3rd from set and 4-1 ffs ![]() |

By:
just watching clip arong posted and what strikes me straight away that kuzzy was much quicker back then

Kuznetsova is one of the few players who when on (a big if I know) is very tactically astute and can tactically outsmart Serena especially on this court.
By:
oopsadonks.
i'd filtered out stuff before 2006 and joined in stuttgart as a clay court, as it is now rather than what it was. my point still stands though. she's the only girl left in the draw who can conceivably beat her if she's playing well and i maintain that if the signs are there, it's a lay on serena to run to the end of the match rather than one to trade. it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if she beat her and then played like a clown against rad (who will beat errani i suspect) going down 1 and 2. |

Kuznetsova is one of the few players who when on (a big if I know) is very tactically astute and can tactically outsmart Serena especially on this court. and she's completely untroubled by the weight of shot as well. |
By:
I honestly think Kuznetsova has far more chances of winning than Kirilenko does. Yet Serena is 1.06 and Azarenka is 1.2 (a price I think is value).
By:
Serena will probably do her but 1.07 you gotta be nuts to back that, surely?
By:
kuzzy advantage is that she is not being intimidated by serena and thats huge factor as well
By:
Kuznetsova also doesn't have a serve which is just batting practice for Serena.
By:
always been kuz and aza who are the only two capable of giving serena a good game if she's playing well (along with the two belgians when they were still active).
masha doesn't move well enough, everyone else is overpowered. |
By:
their matches seem to have very tight sets, hope that continues. SW has only dropped 10 games in 4 rounds, so i'll wait to see how it starts. Hopefully we'll see 1.01 gubbed!
By:
what a match it was @ garros 2009
wow |
By:
Yeah remember that one, also remember tipping Kuz for the upset, even tho the majority crowd back then thought I was nuts....
Anyway, Kuz of then isn't the one now, the one now is just too mentally frail and thinks shes lucky to be here as opposed to "this is where i should always be".... But this is not a 6-2 6-2 affair so 1.07 is an automatic lay for me, Predict Serena to hit the 1.7's/ evens mark... |
By:
you can get a better price backing kuz. drifted to 17/17.5 currently
By:
I would guess my lay @ 1.06 has been matched then now. Of course I can't check to see right now
. |
By:
some recent serena prices:
18/5 Halep 1.07 17/5 Fred West 1.07 16/5 Cibulkova 1.08 14/5 Laura Facking Robson 1.12 ![]() 12/5 Sharapova 1.53(who is 0-13 against her since 2005) ![]() 10/5 Errani 1.22 09/5 Kirilenko 1.09 07/4 Jankovic 1.09 05/4 Safarova 1.12 30/3 Sharapova 1.37 29/03 Rad 1.24 26/03 Li 1.30 |
By:
Is there anyone who is actually just backing this, because everyone on here seems to say it's too short, yet the price isn't moving upwards, so that can't be the general consensus.
And yer my 1.06 lay got matched. Serena now 1.05 ffs. That is a disgrace. I thought I'd be lucky to get my 1.06 lay matched, and I could have held out for better. |
By:
Prob could wait until Serena is 2-0 ahead then lay at 1.03. I would love to see Kuzzy trouble her and maybe even win a set but unfortunately Serena has looked unstoppable for a fair while and this will prob just be another demolition job.
By:
i'm now waiting to be matched....
By:
I would have moved my money, but by the time I spotted the downward trend of course Betfair had gone down.
